yes, the apartments here usually have very matchboxy layouts. They still are not too flexible about this and they are making the most of the space.
The price above is the principal, the downpayment is from 5,000,000 yen from there you divide the remaining by 25 years, mostly they are so. I'm not making sense i'm too sleepy.
Currently my rent is 100,000 yen if 1 is to 1 it's : 1K $
I'm never happy with the layout of Japanese dwellings. I think the whole genkan thing forces a huge waste of space. In the US all the entries open directly into rooms instead of hallways. You would think in a country where real estate is so expensive people wouldn't want to pay so much for hallway space. Who lives in the hallway? Oh well I guess it is a cultural thing and won't easily change.
Yes, Ted. Apartments and even most houses here have impractical layouts. The Japanese style can be incorporated with the modern side but still they insist on the easily gets ruined/broken and unsecured easy to break-in styles.
I think the design does not give justice to the price, but like you said, these are long standing matters that can't easily be changed. Your best bet it to find an affordable, even very small piece of lot and design your own house. even that can be hard as many contractors will persuade you to not go out of the norms as per the available materials and laborer's skills. =(
If this is back home, I can have all the modifications, no matter how out of this world, done, created by relatives. =( Remind me why I'm here.*sigh*
Thank you Ted. I've been thinking about you lately. You know when there are things you already know but ignore and then a friend reminds you of it? In you it, becomes them.
You to me are what you've reminded me 5 years ago :"Moderation." if I've saved from then when you told me so, I can afford the sen happ yak man second hand apartment being sold nearby. On a brighter note, I had fun living how I have. it was wild and unbelievable. Now the Proofing, translation field is dead due to the dissolved Software middleman companies. I have some prospects to get back on my feet. At least I'm graduate from Child rearing and my kiddo now buys food.
